The southern island expedition started on early friday morning... It was predicted that we would hit against current throughout the whole journey... so i was kinda worried we might need to canoe in the dark... However... I guess there wasn't the Chi Liang Effect... So we manage to reach Hantu earlier than expected... We canoed to Sentosa and Pass Jong... Everything went smoothly and weather was great (cloudy)!! However... the night spoilt everything... I kana numerous sand flies bite on my thighs and couldn't sleep the whole night... Argh... it was terrible!!!
The 2nd day was kinda boring... We only canoed round Busing and Bukom... not really interesting... but i guess we didn't had a choice due to some problems of staying over in sister island... I kinda injured my lower back when i took a dive during the jetty jump... shit!!! really caught me off guard... now i'm in pain... argh... hope that it is not serious... The night ended with a BB cue feast and a better night sleep due to less mosquitoes bite... (reasons - due to more people sleeping in the island... haha)
The last day was freaking hot as we canoed back to Poly Marina... The last picture was all of the participants for this Southern Trip... Great job everyone... See you next year then... :P my heart turned cold on Tuesday, December 07, 2004
